Christmas

Lauren actually woke up earlier than me this year.  She started making noise at 5:30 (super early for my kids).  Since mom and dad were spending the night in the guestroom we opted to get Lauren rather then let her make some noise and possibly fall back asleep.  We kept her confined to our room, she did get a peek at the tree on her way to our room and was very excited to see "presents".  At 6:00 we let her wake the boys up, very cute to hear hear knocking on their door yelling "wake up boys, presents!".  The next couple of hours was chaos, good chaos but chaos.  Ken and I were outnumbered this year and was challenged to keep the troops at bay.  The children were all enthralled with the opening and playing of toys.  Mor mor made breakfast and we all enjoyed the day together, till Mom and Dad headed back home for their Christmas Day dinner with friends.  Ken and dragged through the day playing with toys and helping kids.  A great day for sure.
