more trying...........August

We got home on August 7th. Ken was back at work on the 9th. Calvin's school doesn't start till the 25th so he is home with me 24/7 as is Lauren. Drew is 2 days a week at pre-school. The two days Drew is at pre-school, Calvin is with Pop-pop so I can work a bit. Wednesday the 11th Ashley and her two boys, Devin and Connor arrive for a visit. How fun to have our Island buddies in Vermont. They boys had a great time with Connor and were vying for his attention. Lots of fun in the pond looking for frogs. Ashley shoved off on the Friday and that evening Ken and I took Calvin to Burlington to see Government Mule on the waterfront. What a great time we had, dinner on Church Street and a concert. We didn't stay late but Calvin got to ecperience a concert. Saturday Ken was up bright and early for the Hirschbergs annual Golf tournament. Mor Mor spent another night (Thank You) so we could attend the party and dinner following the tournament. Wow August has been busy, we had a couple of annual parties the past two weeks. A Croquet party and Hynes/Burkhouse party with bands.
